I was originally booked on MCI-EWR which listed "breakfast", though I imagine it would've been the tired, shelf-stable fruit and cheese tray. The night before departure, EWR-MCI canceled due to the weather/ATC which then canceled MCI-EWR. SDC'd to go via DEN to LGA and even managed to stay in F.
The FA was much better than the one I had EWR-MCI on Sunday and proactive with refills, etc. I fell asleep during the orders, though he came around while delivering and offered shakshuka or a yogurt dish. I figured the eggs would be decent and selected it, though it left a bit to be desired. The fruit was extremely fresh which helped to make up for the eggs just being so-so (they weren't very flavorful and soaking in the sauce).

I was upgraded to F about a week ago thanks to a friend with expiring PlusPoints and was pleased to see a meal offered on a departure at 2150! We ended up leaving almost an hour late, though it was still nice to have the snack.
The pre-order options were the harvest grain bowl, lemon roasted chicken thigh, rigatoni pomodoro, four-cheese skillet burger, fruit and cheese plate or the sweet chili glass noodle salad. Due to the late hour, I pre-ordered the salad which was a decent portion and had good flavor to it. The meal also came with hot nuts and a warm chocolate chip cookie, though all on one tray vs. the nuts being delivered first with drinks and the cookie after meal trays were cleared.
Service-wise, the flight was pretty meh. I understand it's a late departure, but the FA working F really didn't put much into it and she wasn't very friendly. When orders were taken for dinner, she simply said she had a chicken, beef or pasta dish and that was it. Both my seatmate and I mentioned the pre-orders and she said "oh, that's your burger" to my seatmate in reference to the burger sitting in the galley cart. After meals were delivered, there were no drink refills offered and, despite wine glasses on each tray, no wine was offered.
