Not familiar with the F1 race, but the new and stunning Roku Kyoto LXR resort is right next door to the Aman in the Shozan Resort complex. The chef in the main restaurant is very creative and you will still have access to all the other top restaurants in the area and the spa/pool. We have made this part of our Kyoto itinerary twice, complementing it‘s location with someplace like the Park Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, or Westin Miyako.
