Cancellation/Refund Due to Death
I've been assisting a friend with contacting BA regarding cancelation of airfares due to death. I rang BA and the person really wasn't much help with answering general process questions and gave me an email address where I had to send the flight information along with a copy of her death certificate. This was done at least two weeks ago, so my question is, how long should it take for BA to respond to the request? Travel is last week of September and I plan to follow up with BA, but have no idea if I should have heard something by now or if it normally takes a certain amount of time. The only email received is the automated response saying they were in receipt of the request. Any info is appreciated.
