In fact I am thinking that this is better. We are going to take a train SEA-YVR (the wife likes this idea!). The idea here is 40+80+140+40+140+140+40 = 620 -- enough for silver!

A couple of questions:
- We will fly out to Budapest on a flight the evening before. I would like to do this hand luggage only. We'll come back BUD-HEL-LHR, and then go home. Can I assume that the next morning when boarding LHR-SEA we will be able to check our luggage in as normal, and we don't have to take it to BUD to check it in?
- What happens if we don't make the Malaga flight? We are waiting for confirmation that my wife will be granted time off to cover the Malaga trip, if she isn't then we will go later in the year instead (we are visiting a friend down there), but I'd prefer to book the whole thing now. Would we just lose the 40 TPs from the LHR-AGP?
- I'll be booking via AA and crediting to BA -- do the BA operated flights count as the four flights for Silver?
