If a flight on an LONEx allows changing from L to premium economy for a surcharge, is this a ticket change so points and status credits are increased?
Or does the surcharge just allow sitting in Premium Economy?
My reading of the Oneworld Explorer rules would suggest that the fare class is changed to a Premium Economy revenue fare class, and so should generate higher FF points and status credits, but this is not clearly stated in the rules or in this Oneworld Explorer User Guide.
Can anyone clarify this?
