How does it feel to the "other" person in the room who does not get the drink ? not good.

Better to give two vouchers, both guests to the bar, and maybe they will spend more time / money there for the sake of a few pennies ( cost of a soft drink or coffee ) against the false hope of the "other" buying a drink to go with the free one ....
