They usually let you just go get snacks right there from the D1 basket but don't forget the best snacks are in the back of the plane, and are pretty attentive in getting you drinks if you call them or just politely ask. It's a very small cabin area and since there's no bathrooms nobody from main ever comes through there which is basically the only reason I pay for it vs C+. It's certainly not because of the cheap drinks and cheaper food. Though I did have a really great d'Asti on one flight... but I think it was a mistake.
Thanks for the information! Looking at the pic’s posted, Delta’s food looks the most unappetizing than the pic’s of other airlines.
