It's your typical stripped based model to hit a certain "starting at..." price point. No blind spot monitoring and a manual lift gate are the main omissions vs. the LE. In Hawaii, the RAV4s in the fleet are also the base LE trim (with wheel covers) vs. the XLE and higher trims on the mainland.
Not sure about the US, but in Canaa, all the RAV4s from EHI I have seen are the LE trims too. It's the franchise Nationals in Canada that get the RAV 4 in XLE trim ironically. I am surprised Toyota produces RAV4s with wheel cover still, but then again it's probably good for rental fleet considering the state of rims on rental cars. I rented a CT5 recently with optional blacked out rim that was less than a month old and it was already curbed everywhere.
