Planning to do the intake at IdentoGO or an airport location nearby. Asking for parents who aren't as comfortable with English but may be OK with very basic questions
You will be asked if you are known by any other names (such as a maiden name). For Global Entry, you list other first names and, separately, other last names. But with Pre-check, this interviewer wanted all possible full names. I often go by a shortened version of my middle name, and have also had a different last name in the past. I had listed both other names on GE apps and wanted to be sure everything was consistent. She decided that my shortened middle name was just a nickname and did not need to list it. I ended up in the 60 day wait time bucket and wondered if that was the reason why. (Still waiting for my GE renewal.) After I left, I thought I might have been better off going to the airport instead of dealing with IDentoGo. I felt that they had minimal training and were trying to rush people through--she also arrived to the office late--I was the first appointment of the day. When they asked me to review everything on the screen, I did so very carefully. Perhaps you can join your parents as an interpreter?
