I guess it’s what you’re willing to accept. You can pay 500 GBP for a 28sqm room in a zoo of a hotel with elite benefits or pay 700 GBP to a luxury TA and book a Rosewood or actual luxury property and get preferred benefits.
The property is too big, the staff disempowered and there is nothing calm or ambient about the hotel.
The GSY is vastly superior.
sorry you had such a poor stay. My week last fall was excellent, but booked in 2021 at a cheap rate for a true suite.
