not make it easier for folks here trying to help others when said parameters are so broad.
That being said award availability has been quite challenging for quite some time, especially for business class.
From YVR to Europe it may be challenging to find J flights there and back for < 150,000 given your options are limited to dynamically priced AC flights (YVR - LHR / FRA), or LH which has sparse availability. But start there and search dates and destinations that you would consider.
If no luck with the above, your best bet may be to look at Star Alliance routes and try to find partner J awards from YYZ / YUL to Europe as there are many many more route options and carriers.
Austrian and LOT are two that come to mind that *may* have more availability. Yes this would require a separate flight from YVR to YYZ or YUL for positioning.
