You may have gotten lucky. You need to be booked under the BA codeshare for it to be an eligible flight -- that is your booking needs to be booked as BA --- marketed, operated by AY----.

The fact that there might be a BA codeshare doesn't matter unless you were booked on the BA codeshare.

I read the OP post as "It was a Finnair printed boarding pass so they put only the prime number on it"
