There's a park directly across the street from PHT with a nice playground my kids enjoyed and gave them a nice outlet. Nothing like that in close proximity to Andaz.

Andaz is closer to Ueno, Odaiba, Asakusa, Disney, etc. Subway connection to Toranomon Station and especially Toranomon Hills is very easy, but those lines often require transfers depending on where you're going. Depends on what you'd like to do. FWIW overall we enjoyed the PHT more but the Andaz is also a great hotel. Try posting in the "Which Hyatt in Tokyo" thread for more coverage.
Quite helpful thanks!
