For MLB zero effect on hotels as most fans are local (at least every city I've ever lived). If stadium is downtown the parking is jacked up but rarely crazy (though SF lots seem to think they can gouge if Dodger are in town LOL).

For NBA I would assume the same, 15k-20k mostly local fans.

NFL/College football is a little different due to the larger crowds and in some cases the lack of nearby hotels. In the Bay Area you see Santa Clara hotels gouging but zero effect on SF/OAK. I'd imagine zero effect on downtown LA, too given the distance.

As noted above Swift concerts are more akin to a Super Bowl event, and the resale tix are arguably priced as high or higher. I thought it was worth noting as I rarely see this phenom at LAX hotels but apparently par for the course with Taylor.
