I have flown the "Flying Pencil" (753) LAS-DTW in both 1A and 1D. I had no issues with window placement, but then again I really only look out at T/O and Landing. Just remember you have to stow your personal item until cruise. I don't get to fly first that often, so it is nice to "turn left" upon boarding when I can!
