Just got back from my HKG trip. Unfortunately, got to the airport about 1 hour before the flight so couldn't do a full exploration of the lounge status. But when I checked in for my EVA flight, the check-in counter only gave me the option of Plaza Premium Suites as a lounge. Based on that, I'm going to assume the regular Star Alliance lounges (SilverKris, United and Royal Thai) were still closed, however, i didn't have enough time to personally confirm that they were indeed closed. I was lucky enough to have 10 minutes in the Plaza Premium and that was it.

For what it is worth, I found the selection of food at the PP to be pretty limited (some baked goods, a couple of hot dishes, apples, jar of candies and nuts) so a lot less than what I recall with any of the Star Alliance lounges. I'm not sure if that is the standard PP offering, or something to do with post-covid. Or maybe in my rush, i missed an entire section of food somewhere....
