To be clear, the tour guide I was matched with was exceptional. She was one of the best and most enthusiastic city tour guides I have ever worked with. I conveyed this to the hotel. I was just surprised to learn that many of the tours Capella implies are unique cultural experiences arranged by the Culturalists are really just standard tours run by third party providers and available to many hotels. What rubbed me the wrong way was how they presented them. Compare this to Amangiri, which has a third party service provider that provides unique experiences for Amangiri guests.

I was disappointed with the bike tour, but that was not the fault of the bike company. Capella does a bad job of describing what the bike tour involves and it turned out to be repetitive of other tours I had already done plus parts of the tour involved very narrow alley ways that I didn't feel comfortable in.
