Quick stay report.
One night stay in Early July:
Overall, this GH is almost always packed with people doing "stay-cation" on the weekend.
The regular line for check-in was very long, but globalists can check-in in the club lounge.
We were upgraded to the river view (the front desk person gave us an option of either high-floor mountain view vs river view). River view is always slightly more expensive than the Mountain view. I think the view is the biggest asset of this hotel.
There is basically no chance of suite upgrade on the weekend in this hotel, if that's something you care about.
Globalist benefits were well explained; they hand out a sheet of paper with clear benefits of globalists. Sauna is free (unlimited) for globalist.
Evening happy hours are very packed. If you want the window seat, recommend lining up at least 15 minutes beforehand.
One thing that was different from last year stay, is that the outside pool was actually free to use (last year, they charged us $100 ish for us to use the pool, but they got rid of that this year).
You can only use once per day, after selecting a designated time. You can only use it during the designated time.
Breakfast was at the lounge, and was a typical breakfast for the Asian properties (much better than American's lounge, but pretty typical for Asian GH level properties).
