I've now spent over 90min looking at Business or First Class flights from HKG to anywhere in Europe anytime in the next few months and haven't come across a single seat across thousands of flights. At least after March 2024, all redemption availability for your routes seems to be outright gone.
This certainly hurts the CX reliability to be a "partner" you can trust your mile deposits with, although most other airlines aren't any better anyway. Effectively, it implies, that my "loyalty" moves from an airline partner program to just the lowest-priced tickets available.
