I haven’t been able to get a straight answer to this question and hoping FT has some direct experience.

DL has a Corporate Status Matchwhich I’m eligible for. The T&C for the 6 month match aren’t clear if I have 6 months to meet the same requirements as the 3 month public status match option. For Gold status, 12,500 MQMs or 15 MQSs and $2,000 MQDs

At the beginning it says,
“Extended Medallion Status can be earned by completing the required amount of Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) or Medallion Qualification Segments (MQSs) during the 3 month Challenge qualification period”

But further down,

“Members who earn Platinum, Gold or Silver Medallion Status beyond the 3 month period through this promotion will be updated in the system within five business days of accumulating the required amount of MQMs or MQSs AND MQDs on flights operated by Delta or Delta Connection and eligible partner airline flights.”
