On Uber the fare came to R$29.29 and I added R$7 as a tip, and this was for a "Comfort" ride rather than a standard one, at 8pm on a Saturday. I vividly recall the driver getting loads of low value pings on his app and turning them down, there was too much short distance work for the drivers then in circulation. R$29.29 is currently US$6.18. This was IGU airport to the DT, a 12 minute trip. The trip from the DT to the Falls National Park was R$32.77, slightly longer trip.
