I think the bottom line is for the poster who asked about "prepayment" - there is none unless you choose the LOWER rate option that does involve prepayment. And since we always rent through Costco that is never an option for us. I've heard of people who "prepaid" and then the rates went down and they were SOL. Locked into their "prepaid" , now higher, rate.
