The trouble with routing via ord and DFW is that you don't get the 140 TPs you get from the east coast.

I'd love to turn HNL into to worthwhile bah destination, but it's just not coming together for me. And I'm not yet seeing it works out cheaper overall than other west coast destinations, which I can get for £1.60 per TP, plus a cheaper hotel. Horses for courses, of course.
Oh, precisely - it's just a matter of if it works and for whom!

There are BA codeshares from PHL and BOS to SEA, as well as from JFK to LAX, and BA codeshares out from LAX to HNL - in addition to the SEA-HNL BA codeshare mentioned.

JER-LHR-JFK-LAX-HNL and return would be possible with codeshares that have the availability.

With car it's probably about £1.90 per TP, although the opportunity to get nearly 2,000TP in one shot is something I'm considering. I called BA to check, as I am about to book this, and it can be done all on codeshare with exactly the same price, even though Matrix cannot find the codeshare flights. Perfectly possible.

In terms of getting a price, the solution is to extract the correct faring from Matrix and then call the airline with the exact details. Powertools can't force this onto BA.com from my experience, and manual entry causes it to melt. Good luck with your trip, wherever it ends up being!
