I have always assumed Delta's in-flight entertainment showed versions of movies like those edited for TV which filter out nudity, graphic violence, etc. However, I looked up at an inopportune time and saw a scene of nudity on my seatmate's screen. Good thing is Delta will provide you with your own TV screen so that you have to watch your seatmates movie with him. I wonder what you would do on an Air France flight showing Lady Chatterley....
