(In looking at my rental receipts, any vehicle with the smart gauges has the exact gallons noted on the receipt (e.g. Start: 19.8 End: 18.7,) where dumb gauges have them listed as fractions of the tank (Start: Full End: 3/4.) The specific vehicle I had was a 2023 F150.
