I have 3 redemption seats (two using an Amex PP voucher 2-4-1; the other using a Barclays upgrade voucher) return LHR-HYD. Our actual destination is Goa, and I am thinking about buying cash seats for a direct flight home on the new Air India direct flight.

My question is whether I can amend my BA redemption flight to keep the outbound flights and drop the return, or whether I have to cancel them and risk losing the outbound redemption availability.
