Booked AA for $128. Fared dropped to $98. If this was purchased directly from AA, I would have been able to re-issue on lower fare and get a $30 credit.

Capital One agent indicate they can only even exchange or add/collect. No residuals/travel credit/MCOs even if fare rules allow for it.
