Fair enough, we all have different definitions of what luxury is. I think the tone of my review here was perhaps more harsh than it would be otherwise given I was mildly sleep deprived when I wrote it, but I stand by the content. I have never stayed at an Ibis Budget and don't intend to - there are plenty of proper luxury hotels around where you don't need to burn yourself trying to wash your hands.
