The BA282 departs LAX at 3.25pm in January, so the check-in desks for that flight will be open from about 12.30/12.45pm onwards - which appears to fit your schedule.

if you are travelling in Club, then you can access the Qantas Business Lounge which is the OneWorld lounge at LAX for the TBIT - that is open all day.
