Walking on Changklan Rd. and Loikroh Rd., going to the night bazaar, you can see how depressed the area is, with most of the good stores that have closed.

On my earlier post, I was only referring to the urban part of the city and bringing up the new or re-branded hotels.

was in Chiangmai (at various locations) during Covid more than once and yes it was depressed (also around Nimanhaemin)...surprised that the mentioned area has not revived....will be in Chiangmai again later this year and will have a look....
