Presumably, you are booked on a Prague - Budapest train as far as Breclav.

If you miss the connecting train, you can catch the next train which might be a regional express (REX) stopping train, which could actually be preferable depending on where you are staying in Vienna, since it stops at several stations in Vienna before the Hauptbahnhof.

What you can't do is catch a RegioJet train from Breclav if that comes first, but you would be able to identify it easily enough because their trains are bright orange.
Thanks for the quick response. That was quite helpful indeed. Yes, we will be on the train to Budapest Nyugati EC 581 up to Breclav, then transferring over the EC 105 (which is listed on the ticket as a "mandatory" train). If your are sure there is no issue taking the next train, I might prefer to do so - the only reason I didn't purchase the one that was an hour later was because that option increased the ticket price by nearly 50%!

Have not got hotel reservations in Vienna yet, but plan to be close to the Hbf.

Are all RegioJets not the same colour? I ask because the one I went to Split from Prague last year was more yellow than Orange (I thought!). Anyway I shouldn't have any issues identifying one.
