I’ve used a CMHK postpaid SIM for many years, because:
* it has both HK and mainland phone numbers
* it has international roaming that uses the base plan data allowance in almost any country you’re likely to travel to
* when you’re in the mainland it bypasses the great firewall without the need for a VPN
