You can enjoy pre-dinner drinks on the 'altana', the small private rooftop terrace which is really nice.
But you will probably enjoy Venice by exploring the city beyond your hotel. Each time we go to Venice we charter an Aman boat to explore Murano, Burano, and have lunch at the Locanda Cipriani in Torcello which is magical especially during the Summer months.
