On arrival got upgraded to Premium room (standard room but in better location, Block 33, near to restaurants/pool/beach).

The pool was very busy on our first day (Lansing group incentive trip), and on the second morning my wife visited reception and asked if we could use the Family club area of the pool. They obliged, and upgraded all our wristbands, so got access to the pool area, service by the pool, plus better spirits at the bar, and in the minibar.

Really loved this hotel, and Costa Rica in general, was an amazing trip.
