OPO - LHR, evening flight.
Operated by Finnair.
No menus, choices were chicken breast with potato (can’t remember whether it was gratin or dauphinoise), cold roast beef salad in yellow saucelake or vegetarian pasta. Accompanied by a starter of potato salad with mini egg, and a pudding of mango (?) with chocolate DoCoDisc.
All on the menu at row 4 (of 10).
The chicken dish was piping hot all the way through. And no crusty rim, just a bit of gravy-swill. Finns do better ovens, it seems.
Served from both ends of a trolley processing from the front (so rows 1 and 2, the 3 and 4 etc) with the foils being taken off to order. Food trolley was followed down the aisle by the drinks cart.
All in all, an enjoyable and good quality meal service, more than adequate for a flight of 1h50m.
