Trip Delay datapoint:
- AA award with taxes paid on Venture X.
- Weather delay triggered ATC constraints and flight ultimately cancelled and rebooked for next morning.
- Submitted on July 18 for approx $250USD and approved July 25
- Airport hotel
- Transportation to/from dinner in town.

- Documentation submitted:
- AA ticket receipt email (showing last 4 digits of Venture X card#).
- AA email showing cause of delay (obtained by creating a customer relations ticket on aa.com). The initial response only indicate flight was cancelled but no reason. Follow up email got AA to include reason.
- Hotel folio
- Uber receipts
- Itemized dinner receipt plus credit card receipt which include tip
- An statement summarizing what charges/amounts I'm seeking reimbursement and reason for delay (not mentioned as required in T&Cs but I figure it may make things easier for adjuster to understand).
