HI all, curious what's behind canceled UA 160 MUC->IAH and UA 102 IAH->MUC today July 25, combined with the fact that tomorrow's (Wednesday July 26) MUC->IAH shows on time.

I believe this is saying that 1) equipment issue uncovered in Munich on the 25th, leading to canceling #160, 2) equipment fixed in time for United to decide to also cancel #102 because they now believe they fixed the equipment issue, that 3) the repaired equipment originally intended to fly as flight 160 on Tuesday will instead fly that route on Wednesday, thereby avoiding 4) more functional equipment in Munich than needed for Wednesday's operation.

Anyone know how to confirm or refute this theory? (You can probably guess that I have a personal interest in flight 160 operating as scheduled on Wednesday ;-). Thanks.
