Hi - some advice please if I can ask.....

Im flying QR (J) into FRA later in the year and want to transfer onto London with BA. There is various flights from FRA to LON, however not flown through FRA for a long time so unsure of the deal at terminal 2. As both airlines are in same terminal i'm assuming just security recheck?
It will be a separate ticket, however will use QR's though baggage service, so baggage will go str8 to London and ill have my online boarding pass for the BA flight.
I realise its all depends on my QR flight being onetime - but im unsure of the process in terminal 2 more than anything - im guessing its not a huge terminal and easy to navigate?
