I've purchased sale items over the years from the same retailer with a final sale /no return policy and many times the items are fine, but sometimes they're not. So even if I filed return protection a couple of times (about 2-3) for that same retailer, I doubt it matters and would be considered abuse given the amount of times I've purchased from them and not filed any claims.
I have have used the return protecton the same retailer 2/3 times in the past year and they have approved all my claims. So surprised to say no issues at all so far.
