Received an email a couple of weeks ago, entitled “Congrats on reaching Diamond“
I was already diamond through using this method to maintain status over the last couple of years.
As in the picture, it said the status was valid through 31st December 2024.
I’ve just checked my account and it shows that status is only valid to 31st December 2023, with Ambassador valid until 1st September 2023.

So it appears that my status was extended, and then reversed in the space of 2 weeks😁

So I am about to use this method to prolong my ambassador/diamond status.
