Both feels like some rushing IT tasks in reponse to the action items given by the senior leadership. For the availability page, it only refreshes once a day instead of real time. The other notification is only for flights departing from Korea. Neither of these brings any meaningful benefits. Getting onto a waitlist is much better IMO.
That's a great tool - thanks for sharing. I had no idea that it existed. Although award availability in business/first transpacific seems scarce nowadays no matter what carrier, that availability page is extremely useful for those of us who are based in Korea not looking to fly transpacific.
