Thank you! I'm glad it's not just me. I've had no reply from them to my messages. We don't use BW as much as we used to, the company seems to have entirely lost the plot. In 1981, when we started our trips round the USA, their directory and maps were my guide. There were not the colonies of hotels now found in many US towns. Best Western were, indeed, usually the best. Times and travelling have changed an awful lot since then, in many ways! Our very first BW was in Lee Vining, CA.. I remember being impressed by the stack of towels in the bathroom. There​ was a TV, but no signal. (No satellites or UHF then!). Nostalgia isn't what it used to be!
