(Pretty sure a crew could just do the PDX-RDM-PDX with a 6-8 hour overnight and remain on duty overnight, but then they pretty much couldn't fly anything else on the day of the PDX-RDM or the RDM-PDX flight.)

I don’t think I would ever fly just RDM-PDX-RDM, and AS probably doesn’t want me to use it as a feeder if they can instead send me via SEA (which *I* would like to avoid). Oh well, I hope it proves to be a successful route and they expand/extend the schedule again.
