I've triple-checked on the date I have it booked and there's award space in First on both AA and BA. Guess I'll continue to try again and ask them to escalate it if they can't do it.
It's really unbelievable. I'm 2/2 on return trips using SWU from W to J on BA without any issues. Both times I placed the itinerary on hold, called in, told the agent I'd like to apply my SWU from W to J and then ticket, agent puts me on hold, converts the AA codeshare to the BA prime flight, I hand over my credit card number, done. And these were done back in late December and early January shortly after these went live. Procedure should be exactly the same from J to F or Y to W.
