Looking at the SK winter schedules there are a few notable changes from last year:
- YQR-YYZ is 3 times a week, YXE-YYZ is 4 times a week
- Days alternate between the two (YXE Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat. YQR Sun, Wed, Fri)
- Previous years saw them operate on some same days, particularly the peak Mon to YYZ, Sun from YYZ
- YQR-YVR and YXE-YVR are year-round again
- Last winter these only operated over the Christmas period
- YYC services are mostly 737-operated
- Generally 4/5 daily services to/from YXE
- Generally 3/6 daily services to/from YQR
- I assume this is partly related to Encore pilot shortages
- Most YEG services are 737-operated
- All YXE flights (once daily)
- Half of YQR flights (Mon, Tue, Fri)
- YQR-YWG has lost any useful connections in YWG
- Previous years offered a very smooth YQR-YWG-YOW option, and backup YYZ options, but now none work
