i would be a bit annoyed if i had been downgraded from first to club (not so bad as still get flat beds...better than club to economy) but it is the hassle that goes with it. You have to get a refund of the fare difference from the travel agent and the exec club should have honoured the points as the booking was in first. I dont want to get too involved as I dont know the full story.

I would ask people not to "clog" up the Gold line and write instead to:
