The SCO had no “partial payment” button that some in this thread refer to. I swiped a $200 MCGC (Staples Pathward) to see if it would auto drain. It did not. Then I pressed payment type which let me specify a payment amount. I put in $200 and swiped, but it was rejected due to tender not accepted.
Is this a MCGC problem?
Is this the “new SCO”? It was in the quad format with one attendant.
I don't know how MCGC work, but with BHN Visas I run them as credit, bypassing the PIN screen. And there's definitely an option to break up payment into multiple cards, may just not be obvious.
