Hi, CWS may have an answer but if anyone else has experience, please chime in!
I tried to change an award flight forward one day (Friday to Saturday) within the 24 hour window I booked the original award and it would not let me use the change button as I would get an error saying no flights were available. I was worried Avios wouldn't redeposit immediately to book the new award date (there is availability I have confirmed) if I cancelled and the phone center was closed at the time.
Does anyone have experience with BA's Exec Club/Avios related booking team waiving the $55/ticket fee if I were to call in first thing?
