Yes, unless local arrangements dictate otherwise (e.g. going via the US, etc), and you don't have ridiculously long stops in each place (most airports allow 24 hours, some are shorter). That said, Once going EZE-LIM-MEX with 46 hours in LIM, the tag was printed with the connection automatically, which threw me off!
