I have a stay planned for March 2024 for 5 nights with rewards. I used to travel a ton and had diamond status but no longer have it. Was debating getting the Amex Aspire card for the various benefits which includes Diamond status but not sure the chance I would get upgraded to a worthwhile suite such as the Napua Tower. You'll definitely get your money worth if you have the Aspire on this stay. Charge everything to your room and get 14x points per dollar. The $450 is well made up for by using the $250 flight credit as well as the $250 resort credit. Not to mention you'll get a $25 a day per person in food and beverage credit (another $250 if you're 2pp staying 5 nights). You might not get an upgrade, but you'll definitely come out ahead of the AF.
